I became an orthopaedic surgeon because...
I have a strong belief in the importance and enjoyment of an active lifestyle. Orthopaedics is one of the cutting edge fields in medicine and it is exciting to use the most recent evidence based technology and knowledge to help people achieve their goals.
What is the most rewarding part of being an orthopaedic surgeon?
Often meeting patients at a time in their lives where injury/pain has limited their quality of life and activity, it is a joy to be a part of returning them to the things they love.
