Because of my orthopaedic care, I can walk, run, use my hands and serve my country.

Ron was involved in a slow speed single car crash during an ice storm in 2004. The taxi he was taking the morning of the accident lost control and spun into a building. While no one else was hurt, Ron was unable to move his lower body. Not only has Ron returned to the active duty Army but he has also served two tours in Iraq, has run a marathon, several triathlons, and is now a Lieutenant Colonel stationed at Fort Schafter, Hawaii.
