Because of my orthopaedic care, I can use my left arm to give hugs, carry groceries, give people a high-five, play sports, flag down taxis, and any other of the thousands of things we do with our arms every day… and take for granted. Thanks Hall!

Dr. Hall operated on my left arm, which was badly broken (including a shattered elbow) in a fall. He and his team at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center worked really hard to take all of the pieces — little and big — of my arm and weave them along with rods, screws, and a plate into a functional arm, including an elbow joint that moves normally. The injury was bad enough that Dr. Hall told my parents that he and his team weren’t sure that they could repair it. But repair it they did, and no one would know to look at me that I had sustained such an injury.
