Because of my orthopaedic care, I can walk further and sit for longer periods of time with less discomfort. I’m also able to do my daily activities without as much pain. Before surgery I was unable to go hiking and biking and now I am able to do that and take part in other social activities.

Help! I am being told too many things and searching the web is same. I have severe lumbar disc disease. I have already undergone 2 laminectomys at L5/s1 and L4/L5. I have seen my surgeon (neuro) he will only do a 2 level fusion and 50/50 odds of improvement of pain. I went to ortho surgeon at big university hospital. My x-rays of lumbar spine looked like a bad game of Jenga. I was told I need a L2 to sacrum fusion. I am so scared after surfing the web and looking for some information. I am in severe pain. Especially R leg. I am on Fentanyl patch and still pain. I am tired of sitting all day. I am a nurse as is my husband and oldest son a CRNA. Please does anyone have answers?n
