I became an orthopaedic surgeon because...
I can help my patients by changing their function: a carpal tunnel release relieves pain and allows my patients to use their hands without pain or weakness; fixing a broken wrist restores an engineer to his job, and a yoga teacher to hers. I am here for my patients, and they know that.
What is the most rewarding part of being an orthopaedic surgeon?
That I am able to change some patient’s lives with what I do.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to hike, read, and travel; I also run marathons.
