ROSEMONT, Ill. (January 31, 2018) –The first snowfall brings thoughts of sledding, snowboarding, and many other fun winter activities to mind. But it’s important to be aware of the potential dangers that come along with these activities.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), in 2016, emergency departments treated
- 18,131 people for ice skating-related injuries
- 17,485 people for snowboarding-related injuries
- 16,782 people for skiing-related injuries.
