Because of my orthopaedic care, I can count my change again!
Before my double wrist, single incision carpal tunnel surgery, I couldn’t feel the change in my wallet – was I touching a quarter or a dime? In fact, I couldn’t even tell what was in my purse at all without looking, as my hands were both completely numb. This condition started very suddenly, a few weeks after I began chemotherapy for breast cancer, and settled in to stay. My surgery was amazing! Both hands were done at the same time, and there was almost no pain, no palm incision, no recovery time, and immediate improvement! I didn’t skip a beat and went right back to work with no restrictions. I am grateful.
